Stoneware/Clay Pipe Gaskets

SKRI manufactures a range of clay pipe gaskets in EPDM and NBR (Nitrile) compounds to fit contemporary needs of clay pipe applications, meeting all the requirements of EN 295/IS 651.

Our seals for Clay/Stoneware pipes are used in domestic and industrial sewerage in municipal region and so are compatible with industrial and domestic waste water, rain water, and public discharge water, at high and low pressures.

Clean the socket end of the pipe well.

Apply the recommended adhesives by the SKRI team

Insert the clay/stoneware gasket in the socket

Try prying the gasket out with a flathead screwdriver to test the adhesion. Do not apply excessive force.

Watertight seal is created by bringing socket and spigot inline and homing them.
